A company in the educational industry is looking to hire SEND Facilitators who will provide individualized support and assistance to students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring they have equal access to educational opportunities.
Location: Lekki, Lagos and Maba, Ogun State.
REQUIREMENT/SKILLS:
● Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
● Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs and disabilities, preferably in an educational setting.
● Knowledge of various disabilities, learning difficulties, and behavioral challenges, as well as the strategies and interventions to support individuals with SEND.
● Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and professionals to identify and assess students’ specific needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
Provide personalized guidance and support to students, helping them overcome academic, social, and behavioral challenges.
Collaborate with teachers to modify instructional materials, adapt curriculum, and implement assistive technologies to meet students’ diverse needs.
Monitor and track students’ progress, adjusting strategies as needed and providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
Salary range: N 120,000 – 150,000
