About the role
We currently have 2 x Full-Time Senior Business Officer Job opportunities within The Fostering Service. Both roles are full-time, with one being offered on a permanent basis & one being offered as a fixed term until May 2024.
The role is employed by Cambridgeshire County Council and offers the opportunity to work across both Cambridgeshire County Council & Peterborough City Council.
Whilst the roles are aligned to the Fostering Service, the successful candidates will work alongside other Senior Business Officers with opportunities to work across services when required. The successful candidate will support all the functions of the Fostering Service across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough including Recruitment & Assessment of Foster Carers, Fostering Panel, Fostering Training and much more. The role will include supporting social workers, team managers & service managers with the smooth running of the business and will also be responsible for line managing a team of business officers.
There will be a mixture of office & home working for this role.
The role will require the successful candidate to work in our Peterborough Office on occasions.
Interviews will be held in Huntingdon week commencing the 7th August 2023.

About you
The successful candidate must have excellent knowledge of Windows & Microsoft packages (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), and experience of supervising staff. You will need to be self-motivated, organised and flexible, with the ability to manage your own workload, prioritise and forward plan. We are also looking for someone who has great attention to detail and who can streamline & develop processes within the service. The successful candidate will also have proven experience & understanding of working within GDPR regulations.
