A Strategist is responsible for developing/recommending business improvement plans & strategies and generating original & innovative ideas.
To be successful as a Strategist, you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, good presentation skills, and expert knowledge of the marketing & advertising agency landscape. Ultimately, a top-notch Strategist should have a proven track record of developing successful strategic plans and ideas
Job Responsibilities
Understand briefs, plan, execute, and optimize marketing efforts to meet and exceed clients’ objectives/goals based on briefs
Create and present well-thought-out strategic plans for different briefs/projects.
Collaborate with team members to define project objectives via spontaneous and innovative ideas
Conduct thorough market research
Creative thinking (content creator) for innovative marketing ideas
Perform analysis of competitors and identify opportunities.
Must be up-to-date with technologies and consumer behaviors.
Initiate and proffer solutions to client problems.
Contribute to business development and digital innovation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
2-3 years experience in a marketing agency
Experience in business development or research.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
Strong leadership skills.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
