About the Scholarship

Scholarship amount details
The Tata Scholarship Fund will support about 20 scholars at any given time, ensuring that the top Indian students, regardless of their financial circumstances, have access to Cornell.
The scholarship will be given out once a year and will last for the remainder of the recipient’s undergraduate education at Cornell.
Eligibility
Be a citizen of India and have attended secondary school in India;
Be offered admission to Cornell as an undergraduate student;
Be eligible for need-based financial aid.
Application Process
Undergraduate applicants who have completed the admissions application and applied for financial aid will be considered for the Tata Scholarship. All undergraduate applicants must apply for financial help through the foreign student financial aid application process.
The following documentation is required to apply for international financial aid:
Complete the College Scholarship Service profile (CSS) (the CSS number for Cornell is 2098).
