Tropic Palm Limited is a subsidiary of Golden Oil Industries Limited located in Owo Ondo State. We are currently recruiting suitable candidates with Palm Plantation Experience to fill its vacant positions.

  1. POSITION: FIELD SUPERVISOR.

Job Summary:
Supervision of site clearing, nurseries establishment and management, planting, harvesting and maintenance of oil palms in the plantation etc.

Job Responsibility:

  1. Working closely with Plantation Manager and other members of staff to conceptualize the strategies.
  2. Oversee and maintain the field in orderly manner.
  3. Supervise a group of general workers.
  4. Monitor and supervise the plantation of palm oil for optimum yield and quality production.
  5. To ensure the low of daily operation at the whole operation.
  6. Carry out data collection such as frond data, bunch data and physical.
  7. Planning and implementation of work schedules and program.
  8. To control and monitor quality of works done.
  9. To review daily work progress reports for compilation of monthly report/daily report.
  10. Must be experienced in Land in preparatory for oil palm plantation.
  11. Carry out any other duty & responsibility which the company may assign from time to time.

Remuneration: N100,000 – N150,000, with other benefits.
Accommodation will be provided.
Requirements:

  • BSc/HND in Agriculture, MSc is an added advantage.
  • 1 – 3 years experience in Palm Plantation and Nursery.
  1. POSITION: WATER PUMP ENGINEER

Job Summary:
To always provide mechanical repairs and technical support for the smooth running of the irrigation pumping machine.

Job Responsibility

  1. Producing designs, both initial outlines and full plans such as pump systems and pipe networks.
  2. Managing and maintaining water infrastructure operations.
  3. Must be able to carry out repair on the water pump machine.
  4. Working with other members of the team to ensure that all equipment is in good working order and safe to use.
  5. Monitoring the condition of equipment to ensure that it is safe for use and repairing or replacing parts as necessary.
  6. Maintaining the inventory of parts needed to repair or replace equipment components.
  7. Repairing pumps and other equipment use to move liquids or gases using hand tools and power tools such as saws and drills.
  8. Installing new pumps or replacing old ones as needed.
  9. Performing routine maintenance on equipment such as cleaning tanks and pipes to remove debris that may clog equipment or cause leaks.
  10. Operating cranes and other lifting equipment to move heavy machinery or parts around a work site.
  11. Installing and repairing pumps or other equipment that moves liquids or gases through pipelines.
  12. Installing new pumps or replacing old ones as needed

Remuneration: 80,000 – 120,000 with other benefits.
Accommodation will be provided.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess a minimum of diploma certificate in mechanical engineering.
At least minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in oil palm plantation.
