Up to £400 a year – for following part or all of your course through the medium of Welsh.
Eligibility
- Those who register on eligible modules will automatically receive the payment. Details of eligible modules will be available upon registration at the start of each academic year. • Full-time undergraduate students are eligible to receive a Welsh Medium Study Scholarship if they satisfy the criteria regarding studying the specified number of credits a year through the medium of Welsh where possible, rather than through English. • Please view your module choices on your student record to see how many Welsh medium credits you’ve registered for. • Eligible candidates will be identified automatically, according to their degree scheme and module choices; it is not necessary to apply for one of these awards. • All full-time undergraduate courses are eligible for consideration, with the exception of courses wholly offered by the Department of Welsh and Celtic Studies.
