We are currently looking to hire a Business Application Manager for a reputable client in the healthcare Investment sector.
Major Job Responsibilities:
*Prepare designs and maintain cost for various business application developments.
*Analyze current system processes and design functional requirements.
*Determine and analyze various processes and implement changes for improvement.
*Monitor the roll-out of new software applications to ensure effectiveness.
*Troubleshoot and resolve any problems with business application software.
*Create and oversee protocols and procedures for the use of any new software application.
*Provide guidance and support for application users to ensure that the business application systems supported by the IT team are maintained to the highest possible standard with maximum levels of attainable productivity and efficiency.
*Provide support for application configuration and upgrades, and problem analysis and resolution for application problems, in conjunction with the users and external application or service suppliers where necessary.
*Manage application licensing to ensure all required licenses are obtained when required
*Analyze data from systems and produce technical and business reports for departmental managers.
*Support application performance monitoring to ensure constant availability and prevent downtime
*Maintain interfaces, exports and imports, and ensure their smooth running where required
*Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time.
Job specification/ Required competencies.
*Minimum of 8 years’ experience in ERP/Enterprise Application systems, analysis, and design.
*Relevant degree in related fields
*Masters in Computer Science or Information Technology is an added advantage
*Professional certification in one or more of the following: MCSE, OCP, CITP, MCSA, ITILv3, Information Security Certification Tracks.
*Should be experienced in implementing and upgrading business applications.
*Experience in supporting business application systems.
Hands-on experience in database administration, strong SQL based programming and reporting development, including data modeling methodologies.
