Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance in ensuring efficient and organized operations within ME, Kazaure Office. Plays a key role in managing day-to-day administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, handling correspondence, and providing general support to staff and management. The Administrative Assistant acts as a liaison between various departments, external parties, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth workflow

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Collate and ensures the accuracy of the timesheets of the site workers.
  • Provide general administrative support, including managing correspondence, answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist in managing databases, records, and files, ensuring accurate and organized documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating and maintaining records for employee benefits, vacation, and attendance.
  • Take initiative to identify and implement process improvements to enhance administrative efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, managers, and external parties to ensure smooth operations and a positive working environment.


Requirements:

  • Academic qualification of a Diploma/OND or its equivalent.
  • Additional certification or specialized training in office administration will be a plus.
  • Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative in resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
