As an Automation Engineer, you will take a crucial role in building an efficient, reliable, and transparent software production and deployment system. You will create and implement a strategy to achieve fully automated pipelines, unified across all teams in the department.
You will enable the teams to gain insight into data about builds, tests, and deployments by creating and operating dashboards, messaging, and alerting systems. You will be on the lookout for recurring, manual work-intense processes and you will propose and implement ways of automating them.
Preferred Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
▪ 4 plus Years’ experience as an Automation Engineer in setting up and operating robust CI/CD pipelines, test automation flows, and dashboards.
▪ Experience with Azure DevOps platform and Git. You are proficient with at least one major scripting language and are not afraid of the command line.
▪ Experience scripting in PowerShell or other scripting languages to automate repetitive work.
▪ Working knowledge of pipelines and repos in Microsoft Azure DevOps is a plus.
▪ Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or similar DevOps framework is a plus.
▪ Proficient in English.
▪ Open to learning new things and picking them up quickly, this includes new skills, environments, and people skills, and being resilient.
▪ Prioritize security but be willing to think outside the box and make mistakes.
