Location: Ajah, Lagos.
Job Responsibilities
· Coordinate all installations (telecommunications, time card, electricity etc) and refurbishments.
· Plan and coordinate all building-related activities.
· Monitor and manage facilities’ security systems.
· Ensure good condition of the facilities, especially the vehicles and generators.
· Good knowledge of vehicles, generators and facilities.
· Document and advise on needs for equipment repairs.
· Supervise contractors and vendors when the facility is in use.
· Evaluate proposals from vendors.
· Respond to the emergency needs in a timely manner.
· Influence renovation projects by recommending other better solutions like efficient ways of managing the facilities.
· Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
· Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
· Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
· Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
· Handle insurance plans and service contracts.
· Ensure maintenance of the infrastructure and companies vehicles used in the Organization’s premises.
· Manage a multidisciplinary team of company employees and individuals involved in the work, such as security personnel, drivers, etc.
Requirements and skills
· At least 5 years experience as a Facility manager.
· Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills
· Experience with contracting, procurement, and proposal processes.
· Knowledge of appropriate software, equipment and security systems
· Experience with the security and maintenance of large facilities.
· Must have a valid Driver’s License.
· Team player
· Good time-management skills.
· Great interpersonal and communication skills.
· Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or relevant field.
. Should live within Ajah and its environs.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦100,000.00 – ₦200,000.00 per month
