Job description.
We are seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our team and maintain the upkeep of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and buildings are in good working order and free from any hazards. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify any maintenance needs
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and repairing broken equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for larger repairs and renovations
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and equipment
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines when performing maintenance tasks Requirements:
- A minimum of an O’level certificate is required
- 0-2 years of prior experience in a maintenance or facilities management role preferred
- Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
