People Operations Associate

Responsibilities:

Understand key business goals and designs proactive programs to help achieve them.

Creates and executes goal-based initiatives with a total rewards philosophy.

Maintain a holistic approach when addressing business goals using customized people tools.

Focus on increasing employee value:
-Coordinating new hire onboarding programs and other training programs for new employees.
-Maintaining performance output documentation per team.
-Creating initiatives that boost employee engagement, recognition and development.

Managing the workflow of human resources (HR) professionals by orchestrating tasks such as interviewing candidates and writing offer letters.

Coordinate interviews and hiring needs.

Support and act as a relief manager for the admin manager.

Liaised with the Head of People in developing new employee engagement initiatives for employees.

Supporting the Head of People Operations in maintaining a high quality employee life cycle.

Creating and updating employee records, including processing new hires.

Supporting employee activities such as incentive programs, wellness programs, and volunteerism opportunities.

Preparing reports on various feedback surveys carried out by the People Team.

Screening job applicants to ensure they meet qualifications and fit within the company culture.

Requirements:

Must live in Lagos

Strong attention to detail

Must be able to be in the office three times a week

Great interpersonal skills – you should be able to give daily feedback on how team members are doing based on the frequency of your in person interactions

Legal background preferred

3+ years of experience in People Operations/HR

Strong analytical and excel skills
