Description

The Institute for Biomedicine, part of Eurac Research, located at Bolzano’s NOI Techpark, is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on molecular targets for Parkinson’s disease. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of Molecular Neurodegeneration, focusing on understanding cellular phenotypes related to Parkinson’s disease and the autophagy-lysosome pathway’s role in modulating them.

Requirements 

  •  PhD in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, or related disciplines.
  • Operating knowledge of cell culture and sterile techniques.
  •  Experience in molecular and cell biology assays.
  •  Previous experience with microscopy and/or electrophysiology is advantageous.
  • Expertise in the assessment of the neurobiology of the synapse is also advantageous.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
