Procurement manager – Lagos

Position: Procurement manager
Report: General Manager
Experience: 4 to 6 years in procurement

Job functions:
1.Develop and implement procurement strategies that support the company’s objectives while reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
2.Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on quality, reliability and price. Negotiate with suppliers to ensure that the organization receives the best possible terms and conditions.
3.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including regular communication and review meetings, to ensure that goods and services are delivered on time and to the required standards.
4.Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including identifying requirements, drafting and issuing purchasing orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving issues that arise.
5.Monitoring market trends and pricing to ensure that the organization is receiving competitive prices for goods and services.
6.Work closely with other departments, such as production and logistics, to ensure that procurement activities are alligned with overall business objectives.
7.Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including ethical and sustainable sourcing.
8.Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that procurement activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.

•HND or Bsc in any relevant fields
•Proven working experience as a procurement manager
•Experience in collecting and analyzing data
