Project Sales Manager

Lagos (Hybrid)

The role will initially be offered on a 4-month contract basis with extension, based on performance.
As the foremost employee of ReTrain Nigeria, the Project Sales Manager will be tasked with:
Planning, developing, marketing, executing, monitoring, resolving issues, initiating appropriate corrective
actions and decommissioning a pilot project as a proof-of-concept of the business model.

• Manage communications with all stakeholders
• Manage risks for the programme’s successful outcome
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects
• Initiate extra activities and interventions to address arising challenges
• Manage third party (internal teams and external suppliers) contributions to the programme
• Report progress of the programme at regular intervals to required and various governance forums
• Manage programme’s budget on behalf of sponsors, monitoring expenditure and costs against
delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses
• Define the programme’s governance structure, implement quality assurance checks to guide
overall integrity of the programme – focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the
programme and outwardly on its coherence with resource and infrastructure planning

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
• Qualification in Project Management

• Experience in a start-up environment
• 8+ years relevant working experience
• Experience mentoring and coaching project teams
• Fair knowledge of human resources management processes
• Experience planning, managing and delivering complex programmes
• Previous responsibility for generating own leads and managing complete sales cycle
• Demonstrable and quantifiable successes and track record in securing new business (B2B or B2C)
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word)
• Experience in establishing project management offices and associated processes, tools, and techniques
• 5+ years sales experience of technology and/or training solutions to end users, corporates, government
agencies or non-profit organisations

• Comfortable with providing effective sales presentations to varied audiences and stakeholders
• In tune and aware of changes and future of technology in areas such as artificial intelligence, blockchain,
cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, data analytics, internet of things, software engineering, Web3, etc.
