Job Position: Regional Account Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. In this key role, you will manage and drive direct sales engagements into mid-size enterprise accounts and strategic partners in an assigned territory.
  2. Your focus will be to create and implement account plans focused on attaining deployments of Fortinet products and services.
  3. Develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers and leverage these during the sales process.
  4. Coordinate with appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work.
  5. Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve win/win results that provide the basis for strong ongoing relationships.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Generating business opportunities and managing the sales process through to the closure of the sale.
  2. Achievement of agreed quarterly sales goals.
  3. Generate a sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline.
  4. Develop strong relationships with customer contacts at the executive level to gain insight into the business imperatives and IT drivers enabling the development of a strategy to sell Fortinet solutions.
  5. Sell the organization’s products and services through a consultative selling approach and maintains good relationships with key individuals within the accounts.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of 5 years sales experience selling to mid-size enterprise accounts.
  2. Minimum of 3 years selling network security products and services.
  3. Proven ability to sell solutions to mid-size enterprise accounts.
  4. A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability
  5. Experience in closing large deals.
  6. Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  8. A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle
  9. Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  10. Competitive, Self-starter, Hunter-type mentality.
