Stanford University offers a variety of scholarships to its students, both to incoming and continuing students. Some of these scholarships are need-based, while others are merit-based or awarded for specific achievements or characteristics.

For incoming students, Stanford offers a variety of need-based financial aid packages, which may include grants, scholarships, and/or loans. In order to be considered for need-based financial aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CSS Profile.

Stanford also offers a number of merit-based scholarships for incoming students, including the Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program, the President’s Scholars Program, and the Bing Overseas Studies Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic, leadership, and/or community service achievements.

For continuing students, Stanford offers a variety of scholarships and awards based on merit, need, and other criteria. These may include departmental scholarships, scholarships for students with specific interests or goals, and scholarships for students who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in academic or extracurricular pursuits.
